Masaka Regional Police spokesperson Twaha Kasirye has confirmed the arrest of Twikirize Clever, also known as "Mad Hunter," a 13-year-old casual labourer from Kooki D Cell in Lyantonde District, over allegations of inciting violence and promoting sectarianism through content shared on his TikTok account.
According to preliminary investigations, the minor is alleged to have posted videos containing vulgar and offensive language, which police described as inappropriate, especially considering his age.
Acting on intelligence, security officers traced and apprehended the suspect at his hideout in Kooki C Cell, Lyantonde District.
He remains in police custody as investigations into the allegations continue.
